Pizza Cris had built a loyal local following over years through word of mouth and exceptional product quality. But they had no website — relying entirely on Facebook for online visibility and phone calls for reservations. This meant they were invisible on Google, losing potential customers to competitors who ranked for "pizza delivery" in their area.

Additionally, managing reservations by phone was consuming 2-3 hours of staff time daily. The owner's brief was pragmatic: build a site that generates online visibility, takes reservations automatically, and makes ordering as frictionless as possible.

The brief: A website that looks as good as the food tastes — and actually drives bookings and orders without requiring the owner to manage a tech stack.

Menu Architecture & UX Strategy
Mapped the two primary user journeys — I want to order online, and I want to book a table — and designed the entire site hierarchy around making both actions reachable in under 2 clicks from anywhere on the site.

Food Photography Direction
Worked with the client to capture a set of hero images that prioritised appetite appeal over perfection. Real food, real lighting, real atmosphere — not the sanitised look of stock photography.

Visual Design
Warm, inviting aesthetic with rich imagery, generous whitespace, and a colour system drawn from the brand — terracotta, cream, and deep green — that feels genuinely Italian without being a cliché.

Reservation & SEO Integration
Integrated a simple reservation form with automatic confirmation emails. Implemented local SEO fundamentals: Google Business integration, schema markup, and location-based keywords that got them ranking within 3 weeks.
